Configuration Utility

Use the Configuration Utility to set up BARR/SPOOL features. To configure other modules you purchased —  such as BARR/FTP, BARR/NJE, BARR/PRINT TCP/IP, BARR/PRINT to EPS, BARR/PRINT390, BARR/RJE, BARR/TOOLS, or BARR/TRANSFORM —  see the corresponding book in the Contents list.

This section describes the options on the Configuration Utility tabs. For step-by-step configuration instructions, refer to the See also topics or see the corresponding book in the Contents list.

The Configuration Utility tabs you see depends on your assigned user access rights.

After you use the Configuration Utility, you might be prompted to restart the BARR SpoolCore service for changes to take effect. Depending on the nature of the changes, there can be a 20-second delay when restarting the service.
